"BRIT-AM ISRAEL" BELIEVES:

* The Hebrew Bible is the message of God.

* Out of the original 12 Tribes of Israel Ten were lost. Two remained. The present-day Jews are descended mainly from the two remaining Tribes of Judah and Benjamin.

* The Khazars were a Kingdom in southern Russia many of whose leaders converted to Judaism. The Khazars were descended from the Lost Ten Tribes. The Khazars were blood-relatives of the Picts who went to Scotland, and of the Anglo-Saxons, and of peoples in Scandinavia.

* In addition to the Khazars, many other converts to Judaism through the ages were descended from assimilated Jews or from members of the Lost Ten Tribes.

* Most of the Lost Ten Tribes migrated to Northwest and Western Europe and their descendants are now in those areas or in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

* We do not claim that all residents of the said nations are descended from Israel. We do however affirm that most descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes are residents of those nations. On the whole they are unaware of their Israelite Identity. Even so in the course of history the Israelite origins of peoples in those areas have influenced national developments and national characteristics.

* The Tribe of Joseph was divided into two other Tribes: Ephraim and Menasseh. People from ALL of the Israelite Tribes congregated in North America but in general the U.S.A. is dominated by Menasseh. Britain has characteristics of Ephraim.

* Reuben was important in France, Issachar in Switzerland, Benjamin in Belgium, Zebulon in Holland, Dan in Denmark, Naphtali in Norway, Gad in Sweden, the country of Finland was influenced by the Tribes of Simeon, Issachar, and Gad; Simeon, Dan, and Ephraim were important in Ireland.

* There is a need for the present-day "Jews" of Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes to recognize each other, and to work towards re-unification and reconciliation.

* Proof exists confirming "Brit-Am Israel" Identity beliefs. Some of the evidence has been presented in works by Yair Davidy such as "The Tribes" (1993), "Ephraim" (1995), and "Lost Israelite Identity" (1996), as well as in articles in our journal "Tribesman". Much additional evidence is available and needs to be uncovered and published. Our sources include the Bible, Talmud, Midrashim, Commentators, Classical Greek and Roman historians, Chroniclers, Legends, Linguistics, Archaeology, and where pertinent racial and other scientific studies.

* Even though much of the evidence has been revealed by ourselves it is not ours alone. Our proofs have never been properly refuted. The basic claims we have made are irrefutable. If one cannot deny our claims and there is nobody else who can it follows that one should accept them. This means that the identity of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel with western peoples should be acknowledged. Once this acknowledgment is forthcoming it is possible to discuss whatever practical conclusions need to be made.

#1) The Restoration of BOTH houses of Israel in the future (the Messianic redemption or the Ingathering of the Exiles) (Ezekiel 37:15-28) when the house of Israel (The Ten Lost Tribes) join themselves to / with the house of Judah in the end of days.

Recently, I ordered from Brit-Am and read the first three issues of the MAGAZINE BRIT-AM. The articles and the information in the magazine was OUTSTANDING.

It is VITAL in these days in which we live to understand that the belief in the restoration of both houses of Israel / Messianic Redemption / Ingathering of the Exiles and the reuniting of Ephraim (Ten Lost Tribes) with Judah and Ephraim returning to Torah is a fundamental and foundational belief of Orthodox Judaism. It is one of the 13 articles of Jewish faith and a prayer for the Messianic Redemption / Restoration of both houses of Israel is prayed THREE times a day by Orthodox Jews.

I would HIGHLY recommend that our newsgroup members subscribe to the Brit-Am magazine to gain a greater understanding of Orthodox Jewish belief regarding this issue. In a recent edition of the magazine, Brit-Am stated that they have come to the conclusion that the primary religion of the Ten Lost Tribes today is Christianity.

[ISA 1:7] YOUR COUNTRY LIES DESOLATE, YOUR CITIES ARE BURNED WITH FIRE; IN YOUR VERY PRESENCE ALIENS DEVOUR YOUR LAND; IT IS DESOLATE, AS OVERTHROWN BY ALIENS.

This is a prophecy. Isaiah prophesied both concerning Judah and concerning Northern Israel. Remember the principle that the Prophets prophesied both about their own times and about the future events leading up to the Messianic era. They prophesied in a visionary state and saw things in a non-rational way. The application of prophecies can therefore flit back and forth between different periods with the emphasis on the Messianic Era that somehow parallels something in the Prophet's own time or shortly after. The future is an outcome of the present. Someone in an elevated state of consciousness with Divine help can therefore via contact with the present glimpse something of the future.

Isaiah-2

[ISAIAH 2:5] O HOUSE OF JACOB, COME, LET US WALK IN THE LIGHT OF THE LORD.

Jacob stands for Israel. When Jacob is juxtaposed with Israel Jacob means Judah but Jacob stands alone it often refers to the Ten Tribes.

Jack and James are forms of the name Jacob.

The Union Jack is the flag of Britain. The King James Bible (as pionted out by Dempsey Brutton) is the major Bible in use. Jamestown was the first settlement in America. The word "Yank" is also a form of Jacob.

[ISAIAH 2:16] AGAINST ALL THE SHIPS OF TARSHISH, AND AGAINST ALL THE BEAUTIFUL CRAFT.

"Tarshish" can refer to the Atlantic Ocean area and to the USA as explained in "The Tribes". Historiclly Tarshish was centred in Spain with colonies in Gaul and Britain. It was just past the Straits of Gibraltar and so the name (in Biblical exegesis) came to represent the whole Atlantic Ocean area and in a future sense Noth America. An article from Gunnar Jeremia Gishron of Jerusalem (in our magazine "BRIT-AM") traces the dollar to a coin issued by a Swedish monarch. The original coin included the name of God in Hebrew and the motto in Swedish "In God WE Trust"! Later Spanish adapted the coin and the USA took it from the Spanish. The Spanish version bore the Heraldric sign of the Spanish Royal family. This represented the two pillars of
Hercules at Gibraltar. These pillars gave rise to the dollar "$" symbol! The ancient northern Israelites (LTTS) wrote Hebrew interspersed with Egyptian-like hieroglyphics. Where we to use the
hieroglyphic system today instead of writing "AMERICA" or the USA all the time we would substitute "$" as a hieroglyph representing the USA. This one sign ($) could only in the context stand for the USA. This is the sign of Gibraltar, i.e. the sign of Tarshish. Isaiah (60;9) says that ships of Tarshish will be the leaders in returning the exiles.

[ISA 10:10] AS MY HAND HAS REACHED TO THE KINGDOMS OF THE IDOLS WHOSE GRAVEN IMAGES WERE GREATER THAN THOSE OF JERUSALEM AND SAMARIA,

Both Judah (Jerusalem) and the Ten tribes (Samaria) committed idolatry, Alternately both worshipped the True God to a degree but the King of Assyriadid not distinguish between the God of Israel and other gods.

[ISA 10:11] SHALL I NOT DO TO JERUSALEM AND HER IDOLS AS I HAVE DONE TO SAMARIA AND HER IMAGES?" "SAMARIA AND HER IMAGES": the golden bull calf and other idols. Even when they went into exile the Israelite Cimbrians carried a metal statue of a bull around with them in their wanderings.

[ISA 10:20] IN THAT DAY THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL AND THE SURVIVORS OF THE HOUSE OF JACOB ...

"THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL AND THE SURVIVORS OF THE HOUSE OF JACOB" They will be one people.

[ISA 10:21] A REMNANT WILL RETURN, THE REMNANT OF JACOB, TO THE MIGHTY GOD. They shall return to the True one God of Israel.

[ISA 11:1] THERE SHALL COME FORTH A SHOOT FROM THE STUMP OF JESSE, AND A BRANCH SHALL GROW OUT OF HIS ROOTS. This is speaking of the future Messiah son of David whose father was Jesse (Yishai).

[ISA 11:10] IN THAT DAY THE ROOT OF JESSE SHALL STAND AS AN ENSIGN TO THE PEOPLES; HIM SHALL THE NATIONS SEEK, AND HIS DWELLINGS SHALL BE GLORIOUS.

[ISA 11:11] IN THAT DAY THE LORD WILL EXTEND HIS HAND YET A SECOND TIME TO RECOVER THE REMNANT WHICH IS LEFT OF HIS PEOPLE, FROM ASSYRIA, FROM EGYPT, FROM PATHROS, FROM ETHIOPIA, FROM ELAM, FROM SHINAR, FROM HAMATH, AND FROM THE COASTLANDS OF THE SEA.

These are the exiles of Judah and Israel: The places spoken of are areas to which exiles were taken and from there went elsewhere. They are not necessarily places from which the exiles will return. ASSYRIA the Lost Ten Tribes who were exiled by Assyria. Some equate Assyria WITH GERMANY. EGYPT in Hebrew "Mitsrayim". Some of the Lost Tribes were exiled via Egypt and so too were many of the Jews. The Celts of Britain and Ireland had early contacts with Egypt. Egypt in some contexts can also equal Russia. PATHROS a place in Egypt though some a place on the Turkish border. "ETHIOPIA" in Hebrew "Cush". Cush could mean Africa in general, Sudan, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, India, Central Asia. In connection with the Lost Ten tribes we believe in most cases that "Cush" applies to Central Asia. ELAM an area in southwest Persia. Elam was once an important country. The bulk of the Ancient Persians were probably of Elamite origin. Elamite was the most common spoken language amongst the Persians. Archeological findings reveal a connection between Elam and the Sacae of Central Asia who became the Anglo-Saxons. Elam was descended from Sem. Craig White and others appear to trace people of Yugoslavia to Elam. SHINAR meaning babylon but also applied to the northern shores of the Black Sea. Babylon wasan important dispersion point for the Jews of Judah. COASTLANDS OF THE SEA: in Hebrew "Iyai HaYam" or Isles of the Sea and referring to the British Isles. Over the years I have encountered a lot of problems with these Israelite Identifications of ours. Even so the overall conclusions have been confirmed and the justification for our direction of enquiry has been strengthened.

[ISA 11:12] HE WILL RAISE AN ENSIGN FOR THE NATIONS, AND WILL ASSEMBLE THE OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL, AND GATHER THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.

OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL, = The Lost Ten Tribes who will be found gathered together in specific areas. THE DISPERSED OF JUDAH i.e. the Jews who are scattered all over the world.

[ISA 11:13] THE JEALOUSY OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND THOSE WHO HARASS JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF; EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH, AND JUDAH SHALL NOT HARASS EPHRAIM.

"EPHRAIM" represents all the Ten Tribes.

"WHO HARASS JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF" Anti-Semiteswill be punished.

"EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH" A lot of anti-Semitism is due to jealousy. "JUDAH SHALL NOT HARASS EPHRAIM" Jewish do-gooders and hyper-active individuals etc sometimes antagonize other people. This verse speaks of "Ephraim" (the Ten Tribes) and "Judah" (the Jews) as remaining separate entities sometimes antagonistic to each other right up of the end times.

We are giving a brief explanation on salient points but do not want to overduly discuss details. Our main emphasis is intended to be that which directly concerns the Lost Ten Tribes. Isaiah 14

[ISAIAH 14:1] FOR THE LORD WILL HAVE MERCY ON JACOB, AND WILL YET CHOOSE ISRAEL, AND SET THEM IN THEIR OWN LAND: AND THE STRANGERS SHALL BE JOINED WITH THEM, AND THEY SHALL CLEAVE TO THE HOUSE OF JACOB.

[ "THE STRANGERS SHALL BE JOINED WITH THEM" converts and sojourners will attach themselves to Judah and Israel and identify with them.

[ISAIAH 14:4] THAT THOU SHALT TAKE UP THIS PROVERB AGAINST THE KING OF BABYLON, AND SAY, HOW HATH THE OPPRESSOR CEASED! THE GOLDEN CITY CEASED!

[ The redemption of Israel will be connected to the fall of Babylon.

[JER 3:17] AT THAT TIME THEY SHALL CALL JERUSALEM THE THRONE OF THE LORD; AND ALL THE NATIONS SHALL BE GATHERED UNTO IT, TO THE NAME OF THE LORD, TO JERUSALEM: NEITHER SHALL THEY WALK ANY MORE AFTER THE IMAGINATION OF THEIR EVIL HEART. He is talking about the reconciliation of Judah with the Lost Ten Tribes of northern Israel .

Moses was from the Tribe of Levi and Joshua from Ephraim. Most of Levi eventually moved to Judah. The combination of Moses and Joshua therefore is connected to the future re-union of
Judah and Israel (Ephraim) from the Lost Ten Tribes.
