THE PARABLE OF THE TORAH MATH TEST

(Part 2 of 4)

THE FIRST KINGS OF ISRAEL

Saul was the first King of Israel. David was the next King in Israel. When David knew that Solomon his son would be the next King of Israel, David told his son Solomon what was in the Torah math book and that YHVH would give a Torah math test to Solomon one day.

DAVID TELLS SOLOMON TO STUDY THE TORAH MATH BOOK

KJV 1 Kings 2:1 Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying,

KJV 1 Kings 2:3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:

SOLOMON ASKED FOR WISDOM TO PASS THE MATH TEST

Solomon had learned from his father David how from Adam that YHVH had given a Torah math test and all had FLUNKED. Even though YHVH gave to His people the questions and the answers to the Torah math test and it was OPEN BOOK, Solomon was concerned how so many people could FLUNK this test. So not wanting to look foolish himself,  Solomon prayed and asked for WISDOM to pass YHVH's Torah math test.

KJV 1 Kings 3:6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

KJV 1 Kings 3:7 And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

KJV 1 Kings 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

YHVH IS PLEASED THAT SOLOMON WANTED TO PASS THE TORAH MATH TEST

When YHVH saw that Solomon wanted to pass the Torah math test that He gives to His people, it pleased YHVH.

KJV 1 Kings 3:10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

So after much study, the day came for Solomon to take the Torah math test from YHVH. By writing His Torah math lessons, Solomon was confident that he could pass the Torah math test of YHVH.

KJV Deuteronomy 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

KJV Deuteronomy 17:18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

SOLOMON TAKES THE TORAH MATH TEST

The first question on the Torah math test that Solomon took from YHVH was:

KJV Deuteronomy 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

KJV Deuteronomy 17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

DON'T MULTIPLY HORSES TO YOURSELF

So when Solomon was asked what this meant on his Torah math test, Solomon was so excited because he thought that this meant ADDING.

So Solomon answered on the Torah math test.

Don't multiply horses means to multiply horses.

KJV 1 Kings 4:26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

Since Solomon had asked YHVH for Wisdom to pass the Torah math test, he was confident and went to the next question on the test.

DON'T MULTIPLY WIVES TO YOURSELF

KJV Deuteronomy 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

When Solomon saw this question on the Torah math test, he was happy. After much study, Solomon had learned that:

Don't multiply horses meant to multiply horses (ADD)

so Solomon was delighted to see this question on his Torah math test.

So Solomon answered on the Torah math test.

Don't multiply wives means to multiply wives (ADD).

KJV 1 Kings 11:1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

KJV 1 Kings 11:3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

DON'T MULTIPLY GOLD AND SILVER TO YOURSELF

KJV Deuteronomy 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

Since Solomon was confident that:

Don't multiply horses meant to multiply horses (ADD to YHVH's TORAH)

and

Don't muliply wives meant to multiply wives (ADD to YHVH's TORAH)

Solomon was eager to answer the question to don't multiply silver and gold to yourself.

KJV 1 Kings 10:24 And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

KJV 1 Kings 10:25 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

SOLOMON FLUNKS THE TORAH MATH TEST OF YHVH

Because Solomon had asked for wisdom to pass the Torah math test of YHVH and because Solomon had studied and written out his Torah math lessons, he was confident that he would pass the Torah math test unlike his ancestors who had failed the Torah math test.

However, when YHVH was given the Torah math test of Solomon and saw how Solomon thought that:

Don't multiply horses means: Multiply horses (ADD to YHVH's Torah)

Don't multiply wives means: Multiply wives (ADD to YHVH's Torah)

Don't multiply gold and silver means: Multiply gold and silver (ADD)

YHVH was upset with Solomon that such a wise person couldn't pass His Torah math test. So, YHVH told Solomon that He would give the Torah math test to someone else.

KJV 1 Kings 11:11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

SOLOMON'S KINGDOM IS DIVIDED

Solomon's kingdom got divided into Northern Kingdom and Southern Kingdom. Jeroboam because the first king of the Northern Kingdom.

JEROBOAM BECOMES KING OF THE NORTHERN KINGDOM

KJV 1 Kings 11:28 And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph.

KJV 1 Kings 11:29 And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field:

KJV 1 Kings 11:30 And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces:

KJV 1 Kings 11:31 And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:

REHOBOAM BECOMES KING OF THE SOUTHERN KINGDOM

KJV 1 Kings 12:1 And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem to make him king.

JEROBOAM AND REHOBOAM STUDY TORAH MATH

Because Solomon had flunked the Torah math test of YHVH, Jeroboam and Rehoboam were concerned how a person with such wisdom could flunk the Torah math test of YHVH when he was given the questions and the answers and it was an OPEN BOOK test. So, Jeroboam and Rehoboam decided to go to the highest universities in the land and do a case study of how such a thing could happen. When they were done with the case study, Jeroboam and Rehoboam couldn't agree why Solomon had failed the Torah math test and wanted to fight with each other.

KJV 1 Kings 12:21 And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.

YHVH AVOIDS WAR BETWEEN BRETHREN

When YHVH saw that Rehoboam wanted to fight Jeroboam and take the Torah math test for himself, YHVH thought this was a bad idea and thought that it would be better if they BOTH took the Torah math test.

KJV 1 Kings 12:22 But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

KJV 1 Kings 12:23 Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,

KJV 1 Kings 12:24 Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.

JEROBOAM TAKES THE TORAH MATH TEST

After studying hard in university to pass the Torah math test, Jeroboam was convinced that the reason why Solomon had failed the Torah math test was because Solomon spent too much time studying ADDITION for the math test and failed on the SUBTRACTION part of the Torah math test. Therefore, Jeroboam vowed that when he took the Torah math test that he would NEVER fail the SUBTRACTION part of the Torah math test. So, Jeroboam studied his Torah math lessons and stayed up late burning candles for his Torah math test.

Jeroboam had remembered that Joshua was told by YHVH to meditate on his Torah lessons day and night and when he did to not depart from the right or the left of what was WRITTEN in the Torah math test.

KJV Joshua 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

KJV Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

So, Jeroboam studied day and night. He especially meditated on the Torah math question that everyone from Adam seemed to miss. So with the benefit of studying the failure of Solomon through doing his case study of why Solomon FLUNKED his Torah math test, Jeroboam studied hard because he was NOT going to make the SAME MISTAKE of his father. So Jeroboam meditated on:

KJV Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

After MUCH STUDY, Jeroboam became convinced that:

Don't add or Don't subtract meant: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

So, the day came when Jeroboam took his Torah math test.

Jeroboam came to the question:

KJV Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

KJV 1 Kings 11:36 And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.

When contemplating hard how to answer the question, Jeroboam decided on his answer and WHERE to celebrate the annual feasts of YHVH.

KJV 1 Kings 12:27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.

KJV 1 Kings 12:28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

KJV 1 Kings 12:29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.

So, Jeroboam had answered a TOUGH Torah math question.

Celebrate the feasts in Jerusalem means: Dan and Bethel (SUBTRACT)

Now, Jeroboam had to answer WHEN to celebrate the annual Biblical Festivals. So, Jeroboam consulted the Torah math book which contained the questions and the answers. The one question that was on his Torah math test was celebrating the feast of Tabernacles.

KJV Leviticus 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

Remembering that Jeroboam especially studied hard the MAIN QUESTION that was on the Torah math test of YHVH:

KJV Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Don't add or Don't subtract to: 7th month and 15th day is Tabernacles

After much thought, Jeroboam had his answer as to when to keep the Feast of Tabernacles in Dan and Bethel.

KJV 1 Kings 12:32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

So, Jeroboam in vowing to NOT REPEAT the ADDING mistake of Solomon through his case study concluded that when given his Torah math test question:

Celebrate Tabernacles 7th month, 15th day means: 8th month, 15th day (SUBTRACT)

REHOBOAM TAKES THE TORAH MATH TEST

Rehoboam didn't like that Jeroboam was trying to rule his people by teaching them the Torah math that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

and he wasn't going to follow the same mistake.

So, Rehoboam also studied hard for his Torah math test.

KJV Deuteronomy 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

KJV Deuteronomy 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

KJV Deuteronomy 17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

KJV Deuteronomy 17:20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

KJV 1 Samuel 8:11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.

KJV 1 Samuel 8:15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.

When Rehoboam studied hard the Torah math test question to NOT multiply to yourself, he decided that Solomon didn't pass the Torah math test because he didn't ADD ENOUGH. So, Rehoboam decided to ADD MORE.

KJV 1 Kings 12:3 That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying,

KJV 1 Kings 12:4 Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.

The people of Jeroboam when they went to Torah math school was taught that the most important math equation was SUBTRACTION so they told Rehoboam that if he would SUBTRACT that they would serve him. However, Rehoboam from his study case study of Solomon was convinced that the problem with Solomon was that Solomon didn't ADD ENOUGH. So, Rehoboam wanted to ADD MORE.

KJV 1 Kings 12:6 And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

KJV 1 Kings 12:11 And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

So, Rehoboam couldn't bring peace to the family because he wanted to ADD and ADD and ADD.

YHVH DECIDES TO GIVE ANOTHER TYPE OF NEW TORAH MATH TEST

After so many generations who have FLUNKED the Torah math test of YHVH from Adam to Solomon and the entire nation of Israel, YHVH decided that maybe if He gave His people some more help that He they could pass the Torah math test. Ever since the time of Adam, YHVH had witnessed the problem of why man couldn't pass his Torah math test which was:

KJV Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

When some people took this Torah math test, they thought that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: ADD and ADD and ADD

When others took this Torah math test, they thought that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

So, YHVH decided to send the Messiah who would send the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) of YHVH who would help the people of YHVH to take the Torah math test and understand that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't subtract

With the help of the Messiah and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), YHVH decided to give a reNEWed covenant to His people. This covenant contained the same Torah math questions as the original Torah manual but rather than having his people stay up day and night to study for this Torah math test, YHVH decided to put His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) within the hearts of His people to teach them that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't Subtract

KJV Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

KJV Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

KJV Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

KJV Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

NEW COVENANT = KEEP TORAH

NEW COVENANT = HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU TO KEEP TORAH

YHVH was hopeful that if the Messiah came and taught His people on the earth that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't subtract

and if the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) was put into the hearts of those who would accept Yeshua as the Messiah that the people could understand that;

Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't subtract

MESSIAH KEEPS THE TORAH

When Messiah walked the earth, He studied hard His Torah lessons. He knew that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't subtract

Messiah also knew that ADDING to the equation or SUBTRACTING to the equation was SIN.

KJV 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Therefore, Messiah was careful to NOT SIN. Messiah knew that when the Torah said: Don't add that He couldn't add and when the Torah said Don't subtract that He couldn't subtract.

KJV Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Messiah came and taught those who don't add to the Torah and those who don't subtract from the Torah and teach others the same that they will be GREAT in the Kingdom of YHVH.

KJV Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

THE PHARISEES LIKE TO ADD TO THE TORAH

While Messiah was careful to follow Torah math and not adding when He wasn't aloud to add and not subtracting when He wasn't aloud to subtract, there were those in his midst who studied their Torah math lessons day and night and concluded that:

Don't add and Don't subtract meant: ADD and ADD

So one day they came to the Messiah and ask him why He couldn't conclude that:

Don't add and Don't subtract meant: ADD and ADD

KJV Matthew 15:2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

Therefore, Messiah tried to explain to these people Torah math. He explained that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't subtract

KJV Matthew 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment (WRITTEN) of God by your tradition (ORAL ... ADDING)?

CHRISTIANITY STUDIES THE TORAH MATH LESSONS OF THE MESSIAH

After being so frustrated that the physical nation of Israel couldn't pass the Torah math test of YHVH given at mount Sinai that:

KJV Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you

YHVH decided that when He made the reNEWed covenant with the nation of Israel that He would invite the nations to take the Torah math test. Since the nations LAUGHED at the nation of Israel when they heard that they FLUNKED a Torah math test that contained the questions and answers and was OPEN BOOK, YHVH thought that maybe the nations could pass the Torah math test. However, YHVH made one condition for the nations to take the Torah math test. They needed to believe that Yeshua is the Messiah of the nation of Israel.

After briefly thinking about the the rewards of believing that Yeshua is the Messiah and being able to spend eternity with the Messiah, the nations decided to accept the terms and conditions of YHVH to take the Torah math test.

So YHVH decided to give the nations over 2,000 years to take the Torah math test. When each generation from the nations were given the SAME Torah math, each generation was confident that they could pass the Torah math test. Since the Torah math test was the same from generation to generation, the content of the Torah math test began to be leaked from generation to generation. Before long, the parents were telling their children what was on the Torah math test to prepare them for the test that would be given to each generation.

Two of the major Torah math questions were given to each generation consisted of the following:

#1) When the Torah says: Don't add and Don't subtract from the Torah, did Yeshua do this and follow the Torah?

Each generation from those among the nations who have accepted Yeshua as the Messiah has said, "Yes" to the question.

When YHVH saw how each generation responded to this Torah math question and was able to successfully answer it, He was pleased.

Then, YHVH looked at the results of the next Torah math question.

#2) Since Yeshua understood that Don't add and Don't subtract means: Don't add and Don't subtract, what does don't add and Don't subtract mean to you?

So each generation of those from among the nations who have accepted Yeshua as the Messiah have boldly answered the Torah math question and concluded that:

Don't add and Dont' subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

After they handed in their Torah math test to YHVH, those from among the nations went to tell the Jews how stupid they were for not being able to pass the Torah math test for so many years. Therefore, those from the nations went BOLDLY to the Jewish people and wanted to explain to them why they have FLUNKED the Torah math test for so many years. So, those from among the nations explained to the Jews:

Don't add and Dont' subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

When the Jews heard that those from the nations had taken the Torah math test they were furious. Therefore, Jews began to talk among themselves about those from the nations who had taken the Torah math test. They concluded that those from among the nations took a FALSE Torah math test. The Jews concluded that they had the real Torah math test. When those from among the nations found out that the Jews thought that those from among the nations had a FALSE Torah test, they wanted to debate the Jews and tell them that their Torah math test was authentic. When those from among the nations found some Jew who studied their Torah math lessons day and night who were willing to debate them about who took the authentic Torah math test, they were excited. So, they decided to compare notes.

Those from among the nations tried to plead their case:

Don't add and Dont' subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

In order to validate their claim that they had the correct Torah math test and the correct answers, they added to their argument that two of the greatest Torah math students of all time, Yeshua and Paul both agreed with them that:

Dont' add and Don't Subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

The Jews who studied their Torah math lessons day and night with each other in Torah math academies thought that these guys from the nations were simply crazy. So, the Jews started to explain to those from the nations:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: ADD and ADD and ADD

After much frustration, they couldn't agree. Even so, those from among the nations would tell each other and every Jew that they could find that:

Don't add and Don't Subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

There were MANY from among the nations who agreed with each other. Once in a while, they could find a Jew who agreed that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

When Jews who studied their Torah math lessons day and night heard that other Jews who were slack on their Torah math lessons talked to someone from the nations and concluded with them that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT

The Jews who studied their Torah math lessons day and night decided that the Jews who agreed with those from the nations weren't one of them because they took the FALSE Torah math test.

Meanwhile those from among the nations tried to tell the entire world that they knew the answers to the Torah math questions of YHVH that:

Don't add and Don't subtract means: SUBTRACT and SUBTRACT
