The Babylonian Cylce is the most widely accepted in Israel and was the one
that Yeshua probably read. If that is the case then the passage that He read
in Luke 4 correspondence to the reading just before Rosh HaShanna. It also
correspondence with the Torah reading of Deut. 30 where it says, " The Word
is neigh unto you." The reason the hearers were so upset is because this
portion is part of a portion called the Servant's Song which was to be read
only by Messiah. Yeshua started reading from verse one and not the tradition
in verse 10.
