From Kathleen Marion To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Subject: The Spirit of God is MOVING in Israel !!!! Dear Eddie: I thought some of the other members of this newsgroup would like to hear about this. This is an amazing excerpt from a prayer letter I receive from Maoz every Monday. Arabs and Jews coming to the Lord Yeshua Ha'Machiach! God IS moving and working in Israel! Hallelujah! Shalom, KAM From Eddie: ************** Maoz is a Messianic Jewish ministry in Israel .... From MAOZ report: ********************* "Sunday night and Monday night, Benny Hinn held meetings in Haifa. Benny was born in this land and knows the difficulties in preaching the Gospel here. There is no way we can describe what went on in this letter except for a few brief sketches. The first night about 2500 Arabs and Jews attended the services. When it came time to pray for the sick, the power of God was evident, but before Benny could get very far into praying, the people mobbed the platform to such an extent that there was chaos, and it became impossible for Benny to pray. He closed the service quite early, but said that the next night he would pray individually for the sick--something that he had done only twice in the last 20 years. On Monday night, many of the people who had come the night before were disappointed that they did not get prayed for, and did not come back. But about 1800 did. Perhaps it divided the casual from the desperate for God! Benny preached a simple clear Gospel message about being born again, and giving one's heart to Yeshua. Then he asked those who did not know Yeshua, but wanted to receive Him into their hearts to stand. To his amazement it looked like almost the whole audience stood. He told them that there must be a mistake, that they did not understand him. He had them sit down, and he explained again, what it meant to be born again. He then asked for those who had not been born again, who did not know Yeshua personally, to stand. At least 80% of the audience stood to their feet and received Yeshua as their savior. That broke something in the realm of the spirit. Benny prayed for the sick, and then prayed for the pastors, that they would also receive a special strong anointing to pray for the sick. They then begin to pray for the sick on the spot. A child born nearly deaf from birth had been brought by a relative of Yossi and Lisa of our congregation. The family were not believers, but they were desperate enough to come to this service with their 13 year old boy. As the service was ending, Yossi brought the boy to Ari and he prayed for the boy, who then began to hear clearly--for the first time in his life. He called his father on the phone and talked to him and told him he was healed. He had NEVER EVER been able to use a phone in his life. I tested him myself, and the boy can hear! Our group was shouting and yelling for joy as we came out of the arena. His family today is in shock. A Moslem man and his wife who work for Yossi came to the meeting with their badly deformed child. The wife stood for salvation while the husband held the child. For a Moslem man to let his wife publicly stand to accept Yeshua is a great miracle. He then stood in line for Benny to pray for his child, and afterwards got back in line three more times! We told him that we are going to stand with him believing that his child will see improvement daily. Is this too hard for God? Today he was happy and cheerful, telling everyone that God was healing his boy! Dear prayer partners, if we don't trust God for miracles now, then WHEN? We're going for it! "These things shall you do, and greater. . ." If a person wants to stay in his spiritual comfort zone, and not take risks, Israel is NOT the place to be!" ****************************************************************
