From: Liz To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Subject: Re: The Rabbi Cometh Hi Cheryle. Thank you for keeping us informed of Rabbi O and family - it was fun reading and made me feel like a little bird watching their progress. Thanks be to G-d they are there and safe! Its gonna be a rough month with the house and conference and all - whew - my thoughts and prayers will be with you all. Good luck and have a wonderful and blessed experience. We are counting on your good reports, of course. Any chance for video this year? This could be another good source of revenue for the ministry don't you think? I for one would value seeing as well as hearing the various speakers. G-d bless you for all you do. ************************************************************************* From: "Suzanne Lancaster" To: <heb_roots_chr@geocities.com> Subject: Re: The Rabbi Arriveth Dear Cheryle and Rabbi O and everyone, Greetings, Mishpokah! I'm so delighted Rabbi has gotten HOME and by now maybe a bit settled in; with such precious hands and welcoming and love, I know the work, though a lot of it, has been made light with so many to help. I was wading in much emotion, reading your missive, Cheryle, below. "Jealousy" isn't the word exactly, but I was definitely wishing I could have been there more than in prayer, and missing the fact that even our non-Messianic Jewish synagogue here does not have a rabbi, nor a minyan for that matter. Oh, there are enough families, but only on High Holy Days do more than half a dozen families show up for services. But most of the congregation itself is not really "observant". Since the majority are "reform", then the congregation is listed as "reform". But I guess that means we have a task placed before us here, right? And I needn't be jealous because we don't have a rabbi (grr, grr! You are so blessed!) -- there is plenty to keep us busy, just making use of the beginning things we have learned already, and we will, I know, gain more as we use what we already have been given. My time is still spent largely at my in-laws' house, because Kenneth is helping out there all the time, being on hand, too, to help his daddy gain strength, and that strength is coming back so wonderfully and so obviously miraculously! Kenneth is cleaning out the garage there as I am doing my e-mail here, and I have a pretty good mouthful to chew in that I need to do some heavy duty cleaning here while I have the chance. It's obvious that my time out of work is for the purpose of doing needful things on home base. I love HaShem's timing, and His supply never runs short either! That means, too, that I've had time to read Eddie's "Bride" book and enjoy it tremendously! (Read "study" here, really checking out and basking in the Scriptures he has so wonderfully provided) But, now, to (grr, grr) housework!! OK, L-rd, I know..."everything that my hands find to do, I will do it with all my might"! That way You can bless the works of my hands, for I do all unto You! Love, and thanks for the lovely description of the Move and the work of the teenagers and the missionaries. The works of their hands have been blessed also!! Shalom, Suzanne (Shoshannah) *****************************************************************************
