Subject: What is CRMI?

CRMI (Christian Renewal Ministries International) is a "New Reformation"
ministry. We are neither Messianic nor Hebrew Roots. We are a
transition ministry.

Early on, we made a conscious decision to avoid Hebrew terminology and
Hebrew names which are unfamiliar to "Mainstream" Protestant
Christians. Our purpose is to present the Holy Days and the Torah in a
non-threatening way by continuing the reformation. We do not want to
take Christians away from their churches, but reform the churches from
within.

What many do not realize is that Martin Luther stopped far short of
where he knew the church should go. He saw the reformation as
"incremental". The Puritan reforms in 17th century England were
another step in the reformation. Although we have seen a long period of
stagnation and decline in the church we believe that the time is right
for the final phase of the reformation.

The government and law of the United States of America were patterned
after a "Biblical Blueprint" as explained by Rabbi Daniel Lapin. Our
founding fathers knew that the source of all law must be God. They
would never have instituted new laws without consulting the Law of God
first. Unfortunately that is not the case with our modern Congress.

Our strategy is simple: 1) Show Christian the relevance of the Biblical
Holy Days to the ministry of Jesus Christ and the plan of God. 2) Show
Christian the relevance and wisdom of the "Divine Instructions" of God.

As a "New Reformation" ministry it is our goal to gradually transition
Christians, through education, toward "Biblical Christianity" and away
from "Traditional Christianity."

temples of stone ==> temples of ideas

Message:

"And it will be on the day that you will cross over the Jordan to the
Land which Hashem your G-d is giving you. And you will erect for
yourselves large stones and cover them with plaster...and you will
write upon the stones all the words of this Torah with a clear
explanation. (27:2-8)

"I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert... Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that it's sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look upon my works ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."

      Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)

If you drive down the A38 to Salisbury Plain in England, there will
appear in the distance a strange forlorn group of enormous stones
erected in a circular pattern. These stones are called Stonehenge.

Somewhere between 300 and a thousand years after the Jewish People
left Egypt, Stonehenge was erected. Its origin and purpose remain a
mystery. Some say that Stonehenge was a Druid temple. Others say it
was an astronomical observatory. Others say it marks the grave of King
Arthur.

When the nations of the world wish to immortalize their conquests,
they erect large stones as memorials to their military prowess and
their dominion. When the Jews set up large stones it is because they
are commanded to write on them "all the words of this Torah."

Ozymandias, the Druids and King Arthur are wraith-like memories, faded
by time, while "Am Yisrael Chai!" - The People of Israel and the Torah
of Moshe live and endure.
