From: Rose Jacobson To: "heb_roots_chr@geocities.com" <heb_roots_chr@geocities.com> Subject: Gershon Salomon http://www.templemountfaithful.org/ Hi Everyone, I still can hardly believe it - but I actually did meet and speak with Gershon Salomon. I have tried to be as accurate as I can be about what he said, so please don't hold it against me if I have messed up here and there. Because of lack of time, I am going to do this in two parts and hope to have part II ready by tomorrow. Across the street from this small church whose members for the most part did not attend, but who allowed the use of this church for the meeting with Gershon - was a darkened temple with its Islamic symbols on the front lit up in neon lights. Very symbolic! It seemed like at least half of the persons who came to hear Gershon speak - came from other states and were not local to this area at all. Many states were represented. People had driven hundreds of miles and this made a deep impression on Gershon Salomon. For those who do not know of Gershon Salomon, here is a little of his background whick I have taken from a pamphlet about him: Gershon is researcher and lecturer in Middle Eastern Studies. He is an officer in the Israel Defense Force and a 10th generation Jerusalemite. He is descended from Rabbi Avraham Solomon Zalman Zoref who settled in Jerusalem in 1811, the first Jewish pioneer to start the redemptive process - who sent one of his sons out to locate the ten lost tribes to bring them back to Israel. "Rabbi Zoref was assassinated by the Arabs who thought they could stop this G-dly process." Even as a child, Gershon Salomon knew that G-d was calling him to continue the work for the redemption of the people of Israel. And as a youth of 11 years of age, he was arrested by the British Mandatory Police for his involvement in the War of Independence. (End of Pamphlet part of history.) Later, Gershon joined the IDF and led a company in the Golan Heights. In 1958, in a battle with the Syrian army, where his company of 120 Israeli soldiers in a valley was ambushed by 10,000 Syrian soldiers who were on the hills, Gershon was ran over by a tank. Arab soldiers, who are taught to "kill again," so that no Israeli can survive and though they had had their guns trained on him specifically during this battle - ran up to Gershon to kill him again, even though he was obviously already dead - suddenly all turned away from him and ran. And this tiny group of 120 Israeli soldiers, though many of them layed dead or dying, won the battle against the 10,000 Arabs who were fleeing the area as fast as they could. Gershon said that though he was dead, he became aware of the Light of G-d surrounding him - and knew that he still had work to do, and that G-d had brought him back to life to complete this work - the liberation and consecration of the Temple Mount and the rebuilding of the Third Temple for coming of Messiah ben David, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Later, the Syrian soldiers were questioned by the UN as to why they had fled the battlefield, and they reported to the UN that Gershon Salomon became surrounded by thousands of angels - that they had known better than to try to fight with angels, so they fled. Gershon told us that if G-d is with you, then you and G-d is a majority - no matter what the numbers of the enemy against you. He is living proof of that statement. Can you imagine being ran over by a tank and surviving, surrounded by Arabs with guns pointed at you specifically? This blows me away - it is just like the early Old Testament battles of David - who had such a heart for G-d and who was always grossly outnumbered in battle by the enemy, ...or like David as a child saving Israel by slaying Goliath, the giant - with a stone from a slingshot while Goliath stood there and mocked him - and while Israel, led by the unfaithful King Saul - watched, trembling in fear. Gershon spoke about how he knew that we were in the endtimes, and that he would live to see the Messiah come to save Israel and rule from Jerusalem, the Holy City. He said that he knows that the Messiah will plow through the Eastern Gate - this Golden Gate that the Arabs had added a six foot wall of cement to block the already-blocked entrance of, DRIVING AN ISRAELI TANK! This brought a round of laughter and applause. He also said that Jerusalem was the safest place on earth to be at this time - that he knows the end of the story, and that the Houses of Judah and Israel must return to this nation ASAP - THAT THE TWO STICKS MUST BE REJOINED, ...that this is the REMNANT people. Well afterwards, I was invited to the home of the woman whom I had contacted for the information about Gershon's visit. This woman and her husband have to be two of the finest Christian human beings anyone could have the privilege to meet - you know the kind whose light shows - they don't have to tell you about it. And I must add that it was only through a series of minor miracles that we finally made contact with her, our only hope of finding the place of Gershon's talk in time to hear him. Well, following his talk, Gershon Salomon came over to her house and sat down in a chair right next to where I was sitting on the base of the fireplace. I was speechless. I had so many questions to ask him - but was so overwhelmed by his presence that I couldn't think of one question at that time. Finally, I did ask him for the significance of the site where he has just recently symbolically re-started the sacrifice of the Daily Oblation in view of and overlooking the Temple Mount. He told me that yes it did have signicance - that it was site of the home of the High Priest. Many of the things said by some of the Christians to Gershon would sound very bizarre to an Orthodox Jew, but he listened with great interest, giving them his undivided attention. Everyone there was Christian except for a young Jewish rabbi from Canada who was every bit as polite as Gershon - and listened intently also. Gershon tossed a leading question here and there, such as, "why do you think that we are sitting here together talking? Do you think that there may be a purpose to our meeting? Previously during his talk, he had said that he had felt that he had been led to this area (among others.) Now these were all very nice people who more or less represented a cross-section of Christianity, but many responses were either just a nod of the head or statements of faith about how G-d speaks to them - almost as if to prove that they were "chosen" also. Interesting. And probably never dreaming that Catholics could possibly also be invited to this special meeting with Gershon, an exceptional Protestant pastor made a surprise and uncalled-for slam against Catholics - as if actually expecting Gershon to agree with him. It kind of amazed me how many persons present were so into their own "personal relationship with Christ," that they did not really comprehend the enormity of what Gershon was saying - and what is about to occur in these endtimes. >From where I sat on the hearth of the fireplace, I had an excellent view of the entire group and could hear most of what was said. My sister was across the room disagreeing with a Pentecostal about her view that prayer alone is all that is needed. My sister was saying, "No, you have to DO something. With your thinking - expecting G-d to do everything for you, you will stand back and pray for what you desire, allowing the Anti-Christ to do as he will. YOU HAVE TO FIGHT - NOT SING HALLELUYAH. THIS IS WAR. WE HAVE A POWERFUL ENEMY! My sister, who is not known for her patience anyway, was totally exasperated with the niavete displayed. bUT Gershon sat there smiling and talking about the fine work done by so many Christians, telling us the good news that he heard along the way. He accepted an invitation from the exceptional pastor to stay at his home during his next trip. This pastor, though not arrogant at all, appeared to be humbled by Gershon's acceptance. Some Christians were telling Gershon what the "L-rd told" them to do - things that were very hard to believe were really from the L-rd. I studied Gershon's face at these remarks, but they did not seem to perturb him in the least. In fact, Gershon showed such patience and love that it made me think of Jesus of Nazareth and love that He displayed towards people who didn't have it quite right - like the Samaritan woman at the well who had five husbands, and towards the impetuous Peter who ended up denying Him out of fear for his own hide. It made me wonder if some of the funny or weird parts of what was being said were JUST a result of these persons being overwhelmed by Gershon's presence ...after all, I was sitting there speechless, wasn't I? So I tossed this out for the crowd: First I told Gershon, "You already are a nation of priests." He didn't say a word. He just studied the faces of those present. And then to the others, I said, "The endtime famine is a famine of the Word of G-d. The time of the Gentiles has been fullfilled ...it's over! Prophecy says that now we are to go to the Jews to ask about G-d because they know G-d..." Everyone stared at me. Not one disagreed. The pastor had a look of fatherly patience on his face as if to say, "Why else would we be here?" And then I felt so much better about what I had been witnessing. In Church during his talk, Gershon had touched on many things such as the ten lost tribes of the House of Israel, his fear that the USA may join with the countries who will be fighting Israel in the days ahead - that it is only the people of this country who are holding President Clinton back. Gershon spoke about the fact that President Clinton was upset that his permission was not asked for in the recent digging of that tunnel. BTW Gershon replied in a letter to Clinton that since Clinton is not G-d, it never occurred to them to ask for his permission. Everyone there roared with laughter. Gershon also spoke about THE DISCOVERY OF THE LOCATION OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT and how they dug to within a few feet of the Ark when the Israeli Government closed down the dig. He said that he could actually feel the Presence of G-d during this dig. Gershon's passion for G-d is something to behold. He is fearless when it comes to the things of G-d and he will mail back the Islamic Temples as he has promised. He will start the restoration and rebuilding of the Third Temple. And he will re-institute the Daily Oblation. You can count on it. And you can count on something else too - Gershon Salomon is doing the will of G-d for these times. It's enough to make our hearts turn towards our fathers, whether that be G-d or the evil prince of this world. Before I left, Gershon made me promise to write him about each of you. It made we wonder if Elijah was looking for Moses. ^_^ Bless you all, Rose http://www.templemountfaithful.org/ http://www.templemountfaithful.org/ ************************************************************************
