Marcos Brodsky - from Israel ********************************************************************** To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Subject: Urgent Prayer #2 From: Elizabeth Saez It is us again, Elizabeth & Sixto Saez. First, we thank you again for the previous prayer and the miracle received as a result. Secondly, we are now faced with another urgent matter. Due to having been off from work during the time which my husband was sick and I was by his side, we were just faced with a notice of being laid off from work. Our final day of employment is Oct. 31, 1997. They told us that we were absent too much. We were employed as Data Conversion Operators with the Postal Service in NY. My job expertise and accuracy was among the top 5, out of hundreds of people there. There were days, when my speeds and accuracy was number one. And on other days, among the top 5. We have a huge amount of bills which we were getting out the way, and now this happens to us. Since our auto insurance renewal is now due, and we can't pay for it, we are going to sell the car away next week. We do not have a cent in savings, and times are going to be very tough. We ask for prayer, requesting that our employer reconsider hiring us again, in a few days. Thank you for your prayers. Shalom Elizabeth ********************************************************************** From: Ken Jeffries To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Subject: Urgent Prayer Request for Sixto Saez -Reply Dear Elizabeth and Doris Shalom May the L-rd bless you, I will pray earnestly for Sixto and David, I will now include David as well as Sixto in my pray list and ask my church Farnley Christian Fellowship (England)to pray for you and your loved ones. I have been a part of this newsgroup for about 2 months now, all the while praying for G-d's will to be done in my life. I know that He is with me because He has led me to seek out His people. I am still just a child in Messiah, and I too am weak. I have known tragedy and what it's like to feel discouraged and ready to give up... but just when I feel I can't go on, miraculously, my spirit is renewed, and I remember how important it is to keep trying - no matter what! Forgive my knowledge of scripture - it could use some work - but sometimes I think my life is a lot like what Paul said about our human nature... the good that I want to do, I don't and the bad that I don't want to do, that I do ( If anyone knows what scripture I'm talking about, and has any thoughts on the matter I'd love to hear them) Anyway, Lionel and newsgroup - my new family, the reason I'm writing is to encourage you to keep trying, to tell you that I love you and will pray for you, and to thank G-d for you. Lionel, in the past, when I have felt discouraged , it has helped me to get involved in something that is designed to help others... like going to the local homeless shelter and lending a hand... perhaps you could invite your friends to do something like this... just a thought... or you could remind them that there are good women out here (like me) who really need men with strong moral character, and who want G-d's will to be done in their lives. In fact, it's not just the women, but the whole world that need's men like that... please remind them of how special they are to us and to G-d. Shalom in Messiah, Rachel ************************************************************************ From: Ron & Kathy Isbell To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Subject: prayer request Dear Friends of The Hebrew Network... I have a very dear friend that has been praying for her heathen and alcoholic father for a very long time. While drunk the other night he fell and hurt his neck and is now in ICU in the hospital. He is paralyzed from the shoulders down. Please pray first for his spiritual well being. That through this he will open his heart to Yeshua. That his ears will be deaf to all things except what is of God Almighty. There are a lot of other voices coming at him during this time. His daughter is the only christian in his life. Pray that their relationship will be healed and restored, and that through the mercy of our Savior that he would be healed. Thank you all. In Yeshua's love, Kathy ***********************************************************************
