From: Bruce Barham To: "heb_roots_chr@geocities.com" <heb_roots_chr@geocities.com> Subject: "Messiah Conspiracy" book? I am interested in any comment from those of you that have read the book, "Messiah Conspiracy". In this book, the author gives rather firm evidence showing some early Rabbinic sages conspired to put a stop to the growing Messianic movement. He shows how they literally reinterpreted scripture to frustrate attempts by Messianics to prove Yeshua's messiahship from the Word. The data he presents is extraordinary and shocking. This was done in Yahvneh. He seems to present a factual arguement; however, my limited knowledge of the subject prevents my developing a firm opinion. If you haven't seen the book, may I suggest you look into it - not because it is neccessarily factual, but because I can envision the topic becoming more talked about as more people hear about the author's study. In Yeshua, Bruce... >From Eddie: ************** This is what actually happened. Modern Rabbinic Orthodox Judaism was born at Yahvneh during the days following the destruction of the 2nd Temple. At Yahvneh, Judaism was completely restructured. From this time, Judaism became the religion as taught by the Rabbi's. The religious structure of the Temple controlled by the Sadducees ceased to exist. Other sects of Judaism of the 1st century also died out. Orthodox Rabbinic Judaism comes from the Pharisees of the School of Hillel. This restructuring enabled Judaism to remain for the next 2000 years while at the same time sought to discredit the Messiahship of Yeshua/Jesus. The book that Bruce is talking about is called: "Messianic Conspiracy" by Philip Moore. 1200 pages. ISBN: 0-9648623-0-1 I would also suggest: "The Search for Messiah" by Mark Eastman 200 pages.
