I am generally committed to the Textus Receptus position but I feel that I
must place a cautionary flag in front of those that would receive the book
"New Age Versions" by Gail Riplinger without reservations.

I would suggest that if you read the book, follow up on every footnote, quote
and comparison chart in order to be sure that she is quoting accurately and
in context. One of her most dedicated supporters has said that "...if only
10% of what she says is true, you would never pick up another NIV or NASV
Bible!" However, that suggests that if only 10% is true... then 90% is
innacurate... or a lie. Careful reading is crucial to your opionion of her
work. Do the homework, then come to your own conclusion.

I know nothing about this Westcott & Hort, but I use the NAS (New
American Standard version of the Bible) and really don't know what you
are talking about. I also study Hebrew and have found this version as
reliable as any other. I have a friend who is an Israeli citizen.
She is an American Jew who is fluent in Hebrew, and this is the
version she recommended to me for its accuracy.
