Another thing to note about faith is that in Hebrew the word for faith
Emunah not only has a noun form but a verb form. In my Hebrew B'rit
HaChadasha (New Testament) when disciples believe in him they emunah in
him (the vowells are different of course but it is the same root). So
you see, faith is an active thing -- it is not passive -- and though it
can be thought of as an object in the Hebraic mindset it is more
generally thought of as an action.

Also, concerning Truth's relationship to faith, in the Scripture it says
"...and many emunahed in Him." This emunah, this faith must be in him.
In my Literal Greek Translation the translator phrases it as "...believed
into Him.", for it is in him that we have life, and as the Scripture says
"...we are all one in Messiah"

Hebrew is a spiritual language. It is the ONLY language in
the world that is a spiritual language. In Zechariah 3:9 it is
written:

"For then will I turn to the people a PURE LANGUAGE that they may all
call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent."

This "pure language" is the Hebrew language. One of the ways that we
can learn spiritual truths is from the Hebrew language itself.

For example, the Hebrew word for TRUTH is the Strong's word (571). It
is the Hebrew word "Emet". The word, "Emet" is spelled with three
Hebrew letters: (Aleph + Mem + Tav). These are the first, middle and
last letters in the Hebrew alphabet. Truth must be from beginning to
the end and everthing in the middle.

The Hebrew word for faith is the Strong's word (530). It is the
Hebrew word "Emunah". The word "Emunah" means:

"firmness, fidelity, faithfulness, stability, steady, truly, verily"

Emunah (530) comes from the Hebrew word (529) which
is "aymoon". and means:

"established, trustworthiness"

"aymoon" (529) comes from the Hebrew word (539) which
is "aman" which means:

"to build up or support, to be firm, to trust or believe, to be
permanent, assurance, stedfast, sure, long continuance"

The Hebrew word "awmawn" (542) comes from the Hebrew
word "aman" (539). The Hebrew word "awmawn" (542) means:

"a cunning workman (in the sense of training)"

The Hebrew word "ohmen" (544) comes from the Hebrew
word "aman" (539). The Hebrew word "ohmen" (544) means:

"truly, amen, so be it, truth"

Therefore, from the common family of words in Hebrew we can get a
spiritual explaination of Biblical faith.

Faith is firmness, being stable, being stedfast, being sure, have
long continuance, a cunning workman (trained in faith). Faith is
truth. Faith is Amen and so be it.

All of these characteristics of faith is explained in the Hebrew
language from the family of words related to the Hebrew word for
faith which is "Emunah". Even greater revelation can be obtained by
looking up each of these family words for faith in each verse in the
Bible and you will find that these characteristics will be associated
with the events and people in the Biblical passages.

There is no such thing as "blind faith". Faith is confidence,
stedfastness in the truth and faith says Amen, so be it.

In Hebrews 11:1, we are taught this same understanding:

"NOW faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for the
EVIDENCE of things not seen"

Biblical faith has substance. Biblical faith has evidence of things
not seen.

All Biblical faith should be centered in the MESSIAH. Almost all
Hebrew words comes from a three letter root. The Hebrew word for
faith which is "Emunah" comes from the the three Hebrew letters
(Aleph + Mem + Nun). "Emunah" comes from the Hebrew root
word, "Awman" (539) which is (Aleph + Mem + Nun) which also
means:

"to go to the right hand, turn to the right"

Yeshua/Jesus is called the "Right hand" and "arm" of God.

In Isaiah 53:1, 5 it is written:

"Who has believed our report and to whom has the ARM of the Lord
been revealed ... But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon
him; and with his stripes we are healed"

In Psalm 98:1 it is written:

"O sing unto the Lord a new song: for he hath done marvelous things:
his RIGHT HAND and his holy ARM, has gotten him the victory"

In I Peter 3:22 it is written:

"Who (Yeshua/Jesus) is gone into heaven and is on the RIGHT HAND of
God; angels, and authorities and powers being made subject unto him"

So, faith means "go to the right hand or turn to the right".
Therefore, faith in God will lead us to the right hand of God who is the
Messiah.

When we embrace our Hebraic Roots, we are embracing a greater
revelation and understanding of our Messiah. Everything we learn by
studying our Hebraic roots should be centered on Yeshua/Jesus the
Messiah. Sabbath teaches us about Messiah. The Festivals teach us
about the Messiah. By understanding the Hebraic perspective of faith,
we learn in a greater capacity how we are to live our lives unto
Messiah. Baruch HaShem!
