In a message dated 98-01-21 02:54:49 EST, you write:

<< A classic on anti-Semitism/anti-Judaism is ANGUISH OF THE JEWS, by
Flannery. It traces anti-Judaic thought all through history; thus, it
is not about only Jewish persecution by the "church". However, I have
yet to find any book that equals it in relating the Satanic persistence
of Jewish persecution - MUCH of which was (and still is) at the hands of
 "Christians".

Two other books I recommend are "The Satanizing of the Jews" by Joel
Carmichael & "Our Hands Are Stained With Blood" by Dr Michael Brown. The
latter is written by a Jewish Believer in Messiah Yeshua.

A good balance to the issue of the "whys and wherefores" of how
anti-semitic thought originated int he West is presented by Marvin
Wilson in "Our Father Abraham." Although he is poignantly aware of
the persecutions that so-called Christians perpetrated upon Jews, he
also historically documents that the schism between Judaism and the
church was just as much the responsibility of the Jews as it was
Messianic believers.... Balance is the key word here....
