Brother Ed,

This medical description of the crucifixion is something
that really brings out the horror of what our Lord endured
on that hill called Calvary about 2000 years ago. There is
one scripture which I believe should be added to the end.
It is from Hebrews 12:2 and it says,

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the JOY that was set before him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right
hand of the throne of God."

Yes, it was a terrible thing that Jesus went through
that day and it "boggles" the mind trying to figure out how
He withstood it. That is, until we read the above scripture
and realize that, all that time, He was thinking of you & I,
and the consequences WE would have to pay if He had
disobeyed. Praise His Holy Name!

Val
