There is one scripture which I believe should be added to the end. It is from Hebrews 12:2 and it says, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the JOY that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Yes, it was a terrible thing that Jesus went through that day and it "boggles" the mind trying to figure out how He withstood it. That is, until we read the above scripture and realize that, all that time, He was thinking of you & I, and the consequences WE would have to pay if He had disobeyed. Praise His Holy Name!
