>From Gene Thornton Blakely To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Subject: Gen 3:20 Dear Eddie, I need some help. I will be teaching Gen 3:20 in about 2 weeks on the radio Bible Study on sunday mornings. I plan to go back to the Hebrew name Chav-vah for Eve (Khayth, vauv, hay) and living (Chai - Khay - khah'-ee; Khayth, yod) What did the Rabbi's say about this passage? It transcends the English translation by far when one looks at the meaning of the symbols and the numerical meanings attached to them by Rabbi Munk in his book on the Hebrew Aleph-beit. I plan at this time to give the meanings of the symbols and the numerical meanings from Rabbi Munk, but obviously, he did not say anything about Gen 3:20 in the quotes that I have of his interpretations of the aleph-beit or the numerical meanings. This will be the 13th week of teaching, and we have gone only this far from Gen 1:1 in this time. If anyone is listening, they are getting an introduction to the Jewishness of the Scriptures. If anyone is listening, they have already been introduced to a lot of application of the New as fulfillment of the Old, and told that we all need to study our Jewish Roots. "If anyone is listening is to be taken in the same sense of Rev 2-3, if anyone has an ear to hear." Too many of us hear words without "hearing" what is being said. Notice, I included myself in the group. So far, only positive response. Thank you, gene ************************************************************************
