Shalom rooters,

Recently, I was asked to find a recipe for unleavened bread.

So, here is a simple one that I hope people can use ....

	Unleavened Bread
	1 c. flour
	3 tbsp. sugar
	1/3 tsp. salt
	1/3 c. shortening
	2 - 2 1/2 tbsp. milk

Sift the flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening. Add a little bit of
milk at a time, and only enough to form in dough. Roll dough (using
floured rolling pin) to 1/4" thick. Cut in 1/2" squares. Bake at 375
15-20 minutes until done.

                          Our Passover Things

To be sung to the tune of "My Favorite Things," from The
Sound of Music

Cleaning and cooking and so many dishes
Out with the chametz, no pasta, no knishes
Fish that's gefilted, horseradish that stings
These are a few of our Passover things.

Matzah and karpas and chopped up charoset
Shankbones and kiddish and yiddish neuroses
Tante who kvetches and uncle who sings
These are a few of our Passover things.

Motzi and maror and trouble with Pharaohs
Famines and locusts and slaves with wheelbarrows
Matzah balls floating and eggshell that clings
These are a few of our Passover things.

When the plagues strike
When the lice bite
When we're feeling sad
We simply remember our Passover things
And then we don't feel so bad.

Though it's a bit late, just wanted to mention that I'm preparing to
have a Passover Program which will include a messianic seder at my
Cell Group in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia on Friday 10th starting at about
9pm. Don't know if there's anyone around the city interested to come,
but just in case, they can call me at 012-2687795.

Subject: Passover question

I personally feel the Afikoman is a very interesting element in the
Passover in relationship to Yeshua - but - the question is how did it
get into the haggadah?

1 - It is a greek word?
2 - No blessing recited?
3 - Does the name Ben Zoma have any relevence to the addition of this
word ( I f ound a site on the web that said Ben Zoma added this to the
Haggadah, but I need more input)

thanks

Shalom, Can anyone verify the reason for the egg on the seder plate.
I'm looking for the origin of the egg coming from Babalyon , if that's
where it came from? Please advise if you can, a book I can get to
verify this.

Shalom,

Eva Reeves
