My husband and I are faithful readers of your contributions and I thank
the Lord for the blessing you are to us and to many others.

I am a bit confused about the comment made by Liz about all the tribes
assembling under one banner with the serpent as their symbol and Moses'
refusal and the use of the eagle instead .

If I understand correctly what I read in my Torah, Numbers 2:2 reads:
"The children of Israel shall pitch by their fathers' houses; every man
with his own standard according to the ensigns."

Would you please shed some light on this?

May the blessings of the Almighty be upon you always.

Cesar and Miryam Valderrama
