A SUMMARY OF CIRCUMCISION

6) Abraham’s faith / obedience unto YHVH was counted for righteousness (Genesis 12:1-4, 15:1-6) (circumcision of the heart) and then he was commanded to be circumcised in the flesh (Genesis 17:9-12)

• A circumcised heart loves YHVH and follows Torah (Deuteronomy 30:6, Joshua 22:5)

• Circumcision is a term for Jews and uncircumcision is a term for the nations (Jeremiah 9:25-26)

• You can be physically circumcised but not circumcised in heart (Jeremiah 9:25-26)

10) Uncircumcision is associated with something that is forbidden (Leviticus 19:23)
