17) The Northern Kingdom became ‘cut off’ / divorced (Jeremiah 3:8) by committing whoredom (Hosea 1:2) (departing from Torah) and were regarded as not having the mercy of YHVH (Hosea 1:6) and not His people (Hosea 1:9) and thus has the spiritual status of ‘uncircumcised’

18) The nation of Israel with an uncircumcised heart is scattered into the nations (exiled from the land of Israel) (Deuteronomy 28:15, 64)

19) The children born to those who came out of Egypt were not circumcised in the wilderness (Joshua 5:3-7). The wilderness represents exile into the nations (Ezekiel 20:34-35)
