Step #13: Messianic Application

Psalm 126 looks forward to the gathering of the exiles of the house of Jacob from all the nations of the earth. This is known in traditional Judaism as the ‘Messianic redemption’.

In Psalm 126, the Messianic redemption is like a dream. It is the role of the Messiah to restore and gather the exiles of Israel and bring them back to the land of Israel.

This event will be fulfilled during the tribulation period known as ‘Jacob’s trouble’.
