THE HIGH PRIEST CHANGES HIS CLOTHES

The high priest changed his clothing five times on Yom Kippur. Each time he changed his clothing, he immersed himself in a mikveh. During all of the service inside the Holy of Holies, the high priest would wear white garments. (Book of Our Heritage, Volume 1, page 96).
