THE THREE TRUMPETS

There are three great trumpets (shofarim) that mark major events in the redemptive plan of the God of Israel.

These three trumpets (shofarim) are associated with days of the year. These three trumpets are:

(1) The First Trump --- blown on Shavuot

(2) The Last Trump --- blown on Rosh HaShanah

(3) The Great Trump -- blown on Yom Kippur
