Dear Fern and Mr. Wonderful,<grin>
Much of our materials can be adapted to homeschoolers. There is NO Messianic homeschool program out there. What we have found is that we
can present history, geography, customs, manners, festivals, Hebrew, etc... in the correct context through our materials.

Some examples are:

We have a book called TEACHING CHRISTIAN CHILDREN ABOUT JUDAISM that a Jewish non-believer friend of mine wrote. It is not messianic, but is
excellent and comes with an audio tape with the blessings sung, festival songs, etc... on it.

We also have Eddie's SEVEN FESTIVALS book that is excellent for young adult as well as parents to guide their exploration of the festivals.

OUR FATHER ABRAHAM is a wonderful primer for the beginner in the exploration of Jewish roots, and has a wonderful bibliography that you
can take to any public library for further research. It also has questions at the end of each chapter for discussion.

Ron Moseley's two book YESHUA: A GUIDE TO THE REAL JESUS AND THE ORIGINAL CHURCH (now out of print, by the way! Sorry, we can't get any
more for a while) has questions at the end of each chapter. A chapter from that book appears on our site free of charge. THE SPIRIT OF THE LAW
by Dr. Ron is also excellent for those that are wanting questions answered about "the terrible Law" that Christianity chooses to not learn
about. What was its purpose? When does it apply? Why isn't it applied to Jews and non-Jews equally? Etc...

Geography? Got you covered! We sell THE BEST atlas that is available on Israel... The MacMillan Bible Atlas. Not your typical atlas with only
maps, but excellent diaglogue walking you through the history period by period. This explains what you are looking at and why the geography is
necessary to the lesson.

Bible studies? Got that, too! A full spectrum of Bible materials from the Original Testament to the New Testament with commentaries for both
are available! Want a CDRom with the Jewish New Testament and Jewish New Testament Commentary on it? We got that! A must for any serious student,
and an easy format to add the extras like Josephus, Philo, Mishnah, etc.. through the Logos program right there on your computer.

What about science and botany? Got that, too! We have the Neot Kedumim nature books available. These wonderful books are written by the ONLY
Biblical nature reserve in the world! An extensive study in Biblical nature, botany, and ecology can be planned around these textbooks.
History? How about THE HISTORY OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE from Artscroll/Orthodox. This two volume set is readable at about a 7th grade
level. History is always written by the conqueror, not the conquered. So this set off books is written through the eyes of the Jewish people, and
shows the student what they were experiencing down through the ages.

Wanna learn Hebrew? We got it, too!

One lady came to the Jerusalem Conference just looking for homeschool materials. She was blown away by the depth of teaching and education
that was presented not only in the teachers, but also in the materials that we offer. She said that her life was changed completely when she
realized that she would have to reeducate herself as well as her children, and that this was the most exciting part of home education. I
just talked to this woman and she is definitely coming back to see us next year.

So, I hope that this will give you some help. I am negotiating with two other publishers for a variety of other materials suitable for
homeschoolers, so please hang in there. If you are serious about adding the Messiah into your studies, then start studying as a family. You'll
find that the television goes off, and the lines of communication goes up. Want to add the festivals to your family celebrations? We got that,
too! Order our SABBATH THE LIGHT IS MESSIAH book for a starter, and then grow into the other festivals. How about math class around building a
sukkah for Tabernacles in October? Lots of ideas and materials ahead.

Shalom,
Cheryle Holeman
