From: Paul Jablonowski To: "Hebraic Heritage Newsgroup" <heb_roots_chr@geocities.com> Subject: Kent WA conference <<For those newsgroup members at the conference, please send a note to the newsgroup telling us how you were blessed by being at the conference !!>> Dear Eddie, I went to the Kent WA conference expecting to get closer to the Lord, and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed meeting you personally, as well as the other speakers who I have heard so much about. To hear so many people speaking the same restoration message of returning to the Hebrew Roots of our faith reminded me of Rev. 1:15 which says: "His voice is as the sound of many waters." Surely when God has something to say he will use many voices. I enjoyed the atmosphere at the conferece which was very casual and open for fellowship. Eating meals together was great opportunity to meet new people. Often times when the Lord would appear to Abraham (and others in scripture) he would eat with them. It sounds simple, but it really is a great blessing. The in-depth teaching on prophecy and Israel on Sunday was a highlight for me personally, as I believe embracing our Hebrew Roots will open the doors of understanding the return of Jesus and our place in His coming kingdom. I also felt like the final message of the conference on the MERCY seat was profound, because we can understand all mysteries and knowledge but if we don't have God's mercy we can get into heresy. God's mercy (not our ability to study) is the only thing that keeps us on the right track. I traveled from Alabama to attend this meeting, and I am going to try to make a "pilgrimage" about three times a year to different conferences. I compare conferences to when all of Israel traveled to Jerusalem during the 3 main feasts (Passover, Pentecost & Tabernacles) which they were required to attend each year. I think that when we go to these confereces with the expectation of meeting God, He will never fail to meet with us. Shalom for now, Paul Jablonowski ****************************************************************** Subject: Re: Kent, WA Conference Report From: Pari Johnson To: heb_roots_chr@geocities.com Dear Eddie and Newsgroup: My daughter and I had the priviledge of attending the Kent Conference and so enjoyed the opportunities it gave including being able to meet Eddie and to chat a while. Two other couples came from our Congregation, which was another blessing for me. I enjoyed the variety of speakers and learned something from each. I'm using one of the things I learned as part of my e-mail signature. This came from Robert Somerville's lesson on "The Mercy Seat". The Christian Renewal Ministries did a wonderful job in putting this all together. We still can't believe that it was free _and_ with no strings attached! May HaShem richly bless all those involved in the conference for their labor of love to Him.
