Subject: Newsgroup Update

Dear Mishpachah (family):

Well, I know that many of you are getting withdrawal
symptoms by not getting any newsgroup e-mail for so long. As you know
from the last newsgroup e-mail sent on October 2, 1998, I went to Long
Island, NY to meet several ministries who are teaching the Hebraic
roots of Christianity in the Long Island area. It was a blessing for
me to meet such wonderful people and ministries. Possibly according
to the Lord's Will, I might be able to minister in the future in the
Long Island area with these ministries.

From Long Island, I flew to Seattle, Washington and then
a two hour drive to Ocean Shores, Washington to celebrate the Feast
of Tabernacles from Oct 5-12, 1998. This was my second year to be at
the Feast of Tabernacles in Ocean Shores sponsored by Christian
Renewal Ministries Int'l. I wish everybody on the newsgroup could
meet Rich and Gregory Richardson, founders of Christian Renewal
Ministries Int'l. They have a wonderful spirit of unity and the love
of Messiah. They are truly unselfish servants of the Lord whom HE is
using mightily to bring an understanding of the Hebraic roots of our
faith in Messiah and build bridges among diverse groups to embrace
our rich Hebraic Heritage in Messiah. There was wonderful fellowship,
Hebraic singing and dancing and wonderful teaching from the various
speakers. Among the speakers were:

Dean Wheelock who has a ministry called Hebraic roots.
Robert Somerville of Hebraic Awarement ministries.
Doug and George Dolly from a Messianic Congregation in
Washington.
Steven Berkowitz (Messianic Jew) of Hineni Ministries Int'l
and myself.

Most of you have not experienced the joy of celebrating the
Feast of Tabernacles which is called the "Season of our Joy". I
would encourage you to make your plans NOW to be at the 1999 Feast of
Tabernacles next year in Ocean Shores, Washington. If you can be in
Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles, I would encourage you to do
so there but if you can't make Jerusalem then the Feast at Ocean
Shores in an excellent alternative.

The planning committee of Christian Renewal ministries has
already lined up some of the guest speakers for the 1999 conference.
They include:

#1) Dr. Brad Young of "The Gospel Research Foundation" and author
of the books, "Jesus the Jewish Theologian", "Paul the Jewish
Theologian" and his newest book, "Jesus and His Jewish Parables"

#2) Dr. John Garr of the "Restoration Foundation" and publisher of
the RESTORE! magazine. Dr. Garr has also written a book on the
Hebraic roots of Christainity entitled: "Our Lost Legacy:
Christianity's Hebraic Heritage".

#3) Rev Randy Felton of "PottersClay Ministries". Randy has been a
member for this newsgroup for quite some time and he teaches
regularly with Dr. Doug Wheeler of Mended Wings Ministries.

#4) Ken and Lenore Mullican from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They have a
ministry called HaKesher which teaches the Hebraic roots of
Christianity. Lenore is the daugher of Dr. Robert Lindsay, an early
pioneer in the studying of the Hebraic roots of Christianity and
author of the book, "Jesus, Rabbi and Lord".

And returning again ....

Robert Somerville of Hebraic Awareness Ministries, Steven
Berkowitz of Hineni Ministries Int'l, Dean Wheelock of Hebraic roots
ministries, George and Doug Dolly and myself, Eddie Chumney, of
Hebraic Heritage Ministries Int'l..

Why not put the 1999 feast on your calendar to attend for next
year? You won't just get an hour or two of teaching like in most
conferences (what can you learn in one hour?) but you will be able to
get some of the finest Hebraic roots teaching for an ENTIRE WEEK !!!

As I suspected when I sent out the last newsgroup e-mail on
October 2, 1998, it would take me several weeks to get caught up on
all the ministry responsibilities.

When I returned, I had book orders to fill, I had to go to
the Post Office, to the bank and write thank you letters to those
members who are graciously supporting the ministry of Hebraic
Heritage Ministries Int'l to further the message of
embracing our rich Hebraic Heritage in Messiah. On October 15, I had
an article due for the next issue of RESTORE! magazine.

I had over 250 personal e-mail's and over 700 e-mail messages
from the newsgroup. In the past month, over 125 new members
subscribed to the ministry and newsgroup. Other members in the
newsgroup has changed e-mail addresses and many new members are
requesting study materials. I am busy and buried just trying to keep
my head above water so that I can continue to have time to put out
new information on the newsgroup.

I still have not been able to go through the 700+ newsgroup
e-mail messages in the past month since Oct 2, 1998 and finish
processing the new members and the over 250 personal e-mail messages.

So, I need to get caught up with these things before I am
able to continue with the newsgroup again. Furthermore, I need to
take some time and forward to Dr. John Garr the info for those
people who have requested a FREE trial issue of RESTORE! magazine.
For those of you who have not yet received your free trial issue,
thank you for your patience. Finally, I am about 75% done working
with Cheryle Holeman of HaY'Did ministries to make available to our
members a Hebraic roots on-line study catalog. I want to work with
her and finish this project as soon as possible.

So, I want to finish up these projects before I am able to
resume the newsgroup again.

And ... I will be traveling to the Denver, Colorado area
specifically, Loveland, Colorado to teach a Hebraic roots seminar to
be entitled, "For the Love of Zion" on November 7-8, 1998. For more
information, please visit the Webpage:

http://www.hebroots.org/loveland.html

or contact Cheryl Sanchez (CSan970@aol.com) to register for
the conference. It would be a great pleasure to see as many people as
possible from the newsgroup at this seminar.

Next, as most of you know, Israel just made an agreement to
give more land to the PLO. For those of you who are students of Bible
prophecy, the end of the age is NEAR! The Bible says that the
end-time controversy will center around Jerusalem and the prophet
Zechariah in Zechariah 12:3, 14:2 tells us that Jerusalem will be a cup
of trembling to all the nations. The nations of the world are about
to fall for the trap of the enemy that will bring the judgment of God
upon ALL nations ---- they want to make Jerusalem an International
city. Bible prophecy students know that Jerusalem is the city of the
God of Israel! It should be the undivided capital of the Jewish
people. Yasser Arafat has declared his intentions to declare a PLO
state on May 4, 1999.

Because of all of this, there is an extreme urgency in my
heart to write and get into the print the latest book that God has
put upon my heart to write. This book will be about the Restoration
of the Two Houses of Israel (Judaism and Christianity) as prophecied
in Ezekiel 37 and how all of this is related to the current Middle
peace process and controversy of the nations. Because God has
confirmed to me so recently about the importance of the message
contained within this book and the lateness of the prophetic hour,
once I get the above projects completed as mentioned above, I will be
starting to write this book.

Because I don't have anymore "spare" time on my hands,
from the time that I begin writing the book until it is completed,
there will only be newsgroup 1 day a week rather than 3-4 days a
week. I need the time to write this new book.

So, thank you for your patience, your prayers and your
love and support of Hebraic Heritage Ministries Int'l. Words cannot
express how much I LOVE the newsgroup and the fellowship of the
newsgroup. I have been so blessed by all the encouraging words and
all the lives I see being touched by the newsgroup and the fire that
is being stirred in the hearts of God's people all over the world to
embrace the Hebraic roots of our faith in Messiah. So, I am greatly
looking forward to continuing the ministry of the newsgroup. I
believe that the newsgroup is so vital and a very powerful tool to
encourage believers to study and understand the Hebraic roots of
Christianity.

So, thank you so much for your prayers, patience and
understanding. Since I work a full-time job at the present moment, it
takes all of my "spare" time to keep current with all the demands of
the ministry. I literally use all my "spare" time to serve the Lord
and to further the vital message of embracing our Hebraic roots in
Messiah. But sometimes, it can be very challenging to keep up with
everything. May God continue to bless all of us in our studies.

Shalom in Messiah,

Eddie Chumney
