Subject: Where's the newsgroup?

Dear Mishpachah (family):

I am so delighted to know that the newsgroup is such a rich
blessing to so many of our members. The Hebraic Heritage newsgroup
started in November 1996 with several hundred members. Today, it has
grown to over 2400 members of the ministry. The Lord is blessing the
ministry in a mighty way!

I can't even begin to count in the past two years how many
e-mail's I have received telling me how much people enjoy the newsgroup
and the Hebraic Heritage Webpage:

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/2175/index.html

and how much the teachings have helped so many people to
understand the Hebraic roots of their faith in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah.

The last newsgroup e-mail that I sent out was Sept 10,
1998. Therefore, there has been no newsgroup e-mail for over two
weeks. As you know, from Sept 11-13, 1998, I was in Houston, Texas
for a Hebraic roots conference. I was greeted in Houston by Hurricane
Frances and I saw water EVERYWHERE! While the turnout was small for
the conference, the Lord blessed the conference in a mighty way. For
those who came, they were blessed beyond their imagination.

At the conference, I was asked if I would be willing to
speak at David Wilkerson's church in Times Square, New York. I was
also asked to speak at the largest church in the Phillipine Islands.
As of this date, these speaking engagements have not been finalized
but the LORD is opening up some mighty doors to teach the Hebraic
roots of Christianity !!!

The next weekend, I went to the Knoxville, Tennessee area to
speak at a congregation who invited me to speak on the Fall
Festivals and the restoration of the two houses of Israel. Everyone
who came was blessed as many expressed that insights and revelations
were shared on these topics that they have never been taught in the
past.

When I returned from Knoxville, I learned that it has been
finalized that I will be speaking at a prophecy conference in
Houston, Texas, January 21-22, 1999 with Hal Lindsey, Yaacov Rambel,
Chuck Missler and JR Church. You will want to mark your calendars to
attend this conference!

Also this week, plans were finalized for me to speak in the
Denver, Colorado area at Loveland, Colorado, November 7-8, 1998. I
pray that our newsgroup members will be able to come to this
conference also. For more information, please write to Cheryl Sanchez
at CSan970@aol.com.

As many of you know, I currently work a full-time job. I do
all the duties and responsibilities of the ministry in my "spare"
time. Many people have asked me, "How do you find time to do all that
you do in the ministry and still work a full-time job?". Well, to be
truthful, it is really challenging to balance my time and it is
getting increasingly challenging everyday.

Presently, I am the only person who is running Hebraic
Heritage Ministries Int'l. I do not get paid a salary from the
ministry. I have written two books, "The Seven Festivals of the
Messiah" and "Who is the Bride of Christ?". I am the secretary,
order department, shipping department, billing department, accountant
and administrator of the newsgroup. I put all of our new members in
the ministry database and I make all the changes when our members
have a change of e-mail address. I do all these things in my "spare"
time. Sometimes, doing all these things can be quite overwhelming and
challenging to stay current with everything. Therefore, sometimes
(like the last two-three weeks), I simply do not have enough time to
keep up with all the ministry responsibilities in my "spare" time and
also still do the newsgroup which usually takes about 4 hours per
night each time newsgroup e-mail is sent to our members.

If I did not have to work full-time and could spend my
full-time taking care of ministry responsibilities including the
newsgroup, it would be alot easier. But, at this point in time, this
is simply not a practical consideration. While there are over 2000
members of the newsgroup, there is currently about 3-4 members who
are supporting the ministry on a regular basis. Therefore, under
these circumstances, the status-quo needs to be maintained.

I will be leaving to go to Long Island, Oct 2-4, 1998 to
meet with some fellowship groups in the area and speak with them
about the Hebraic roots of Christianity. Then, from Oct 5-12, 1998, I
will be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles at Ocean Shores,
Washington. When I return, I will have to take time to catch up on
the ministry responsibilities that have built up over that two week
period. It may take me another one or two weeks or so to catch up.
Therefore, we probably won't be having the newsgroup again until the
last part of October.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding and
thank you for your support and encouragement and keeping the ministry
in your prayers.

Shalom in Messiah,

Eddie Chumney
