Subject:     Thanks for your ministry

 Dear Eddie,

I have to admit that I was stunned and unbelievably overwhelmed
while  reading one of your Q&A articles today. I make no claim to
great  understanding or knowledge and strive to become more
knowledgeable of  Christ each day, but your little info tidbit about
the Holy Spirit came as a great surprise and blessing for me and my
family.

I'm sure that others have done great expositories on the fact that
Ruach is a feminine word in the Hebrew but it fit perfectly into an
analogy that I have been using for my children for some time now and
would like to share with you.

As is customary in many households, my wife finds that getting the
children to listen the first time or to respect her instructions is
difficult. It becomes even more frustrating for her when I arrive
home and issue a command in a very succinct manner and the kids start
hopping, seemingly with no effort on my part. As a result of her
frustration I have been encouraging the kids to make some
correlations with Mom and Dad and with the Lord God.

I have likened myself to God as the lawgiver, Judge, jury and
constable. I demand performance and reward or punish based on the
results. I liken my wife to the Spirit as the comforter, teacher, (we
home school to boot) encourager and friend. She sets the goals and
encourages/teaches the way to them. Her goals are based on my overall
direction.

Now I don't want this to sound too messed up and we don't get goofy
with all this. It is the best way that we have found so far to get
the kids attention that Mom and Dad are one but that we have
different functions within our family. We hope to teach the kids the
concept of a Triune God who embraces these two parts and that the
third (Christ)  resides in their hearts just like in ours.

This analogy has not solved all of the woes, but it has given great
credence to our teaching and has moved our family discussions into a
deeper and more relevant area for growth. We have found that the kids
better understand the Lord God now and have a more meaningful way of =
looking at Him in respect to their future lives outside this home
without us as "live-in" guides. It has also helped my bride to deal
with her frustrations and to have a better image of herself and her
role in the family. She doesn't get nearly so upset anymore.

I just wanted to send a note to you to let you know that what is
sent out ends up having myriad examples and connections that all come
together to glorify God. Thanks for your work.

Subject: Thank you... for your Canada: "For the Love of Zion" seminar

Shalom Eddie,

Thank you for coming to Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada.  You don't
know how much it has meant to me to hear some of the things that are
now coming out of people since the seminar.  Even Pastor Larry has
caught the importance of knowing Gods ways not just His acts.  Slowly
the scales are coming off people's eyes.

It started with the weekend seminar.  Since that weekend a
couple that was in the World Wide Church, they had left two years ago,
now understand the proper perspective on certain things.  This couple
went to Winnipeg, Manitoba last week for the Gathering for the
National Repentance of the Treatment of the Jewish People.  They said
that what you taught in Weyburn and what they experienced while being
at the intercession weekend, the Word of God is just really taking
off!!!

Thank you for being willing to come, to really the middle of nowhere.
The time is so short but I am starting to see some of the people
within the church starting to wake up!  My spirit leaps within me.  I
just pray that the blinders don't  reappear.   A lady shared on Sunday
that God told her all last week  "to get ready", "to get ready", "to
get ready".

She asked God "how"?  He said, "to become intimate with Him, to get
His Word down inside her and don't let go of Him".   God is waking His
people.

I am truly blessed by your ministry.

Thank you again,
Camille Cavers

Subject:   Thank you for coming to Southern Californa and teaching
the "For the Love of Zion" seminar

Shalom Eddie!

I really enjoyed meeting you this week-end and am still thinking about
many things you taught about.  I believe you are an annointed speaker
and believe me I don't say that about many people.  Don't get a big
head, it is obvious that the Ruach takes over when you begin to speak.
A similar thing happens when Marty Goetz begins to sing.  You are
both just regular guys, but the  Ruach uses your mouths to speak  to
the people.  You are a blessed man Eddie!  I am going to be praying
for your ministry and hope you will pray for mine.

May Yahweh bless and keep you,

Marcia Gershenbaum

From Eddie:
**************

        Camille and Marcia,

It is an encouragment to me and the ministry that both you
and the people who attended the "For the Love of Zion" seminars in
Weyburn, Canada and Vista, CA recently were blessed from hearing the
information that I taught about our rich Hebraic Heritage in Messiah.

Because these seminars were taped, the members in the
newsgroup will be able to be blessed from these seminar teachings.
There is another member of the newsgroup that is working with me to make
these tapes available to our newsgroup members. I will contact those
members who are interested in the set of tapes when we are ready to
make them available. There will be 8 tapes in the tape album.

Once again, if newsgroup members are interested in obtaining
a copy of the tape series from these seminars, please send me an
e-mail note at (heb_roots_chr@hebroots.org) and I will put you on the
list and notify you when the tapes are available to be sent. Please
send NO money at this time.

When I teach the "For the Love of Zion" seminars, people who
attend the seminars from other locations ask me what it would take
for me to come and teach a weekend seminar in their city, the answer
is very simple --- JUST ASK.  I LOVE to travel and I LOVE to teach
about our rich Hebraic Heritage in Messiah.

For our newsgroup members who live outside the USA, I have
had recent inquiries from newsgroup members to speak in Hong Kong,
China and Namibia, Africa. Namibia borders South Africa. I am TENTATIVELY
planning the possibility of coming to South Africa to about the
Hebraic roots of our faith in Messiah and then go to Namibia. If any
newsgroup members from South Africa would be interested in having me
speak in your country, please send me an e-mail so that I can help
coordinate my POSSIBLE visit. These plans to visit countries outside
of the USA would be for the ministry itinerary in 2000.

I have also had tentative inquiries from the Fiji Islands,
the Phillipians and New Zealand in the past.  If I come to Hong Kong,
China in the year 2000, I would also like to coordinate possibly
speaking in these countries as well.

Last year, I had an inquiry from a newsgroup member to speak
in Brazil. Brazil is also a possibility for the year 2000 for me to
speak. If members from any other country outside the USA is
interested in me coming to teach a "For the Love of Zion" seminar in
the year 2000, please send me an e-mail.

For our USA members, it is still possible to coordinate
weekend seminars for 1999.

Yours for the Love of Zion,
