Step #1: Kaddesh and the First Cup

After the cup is filled, the cup is lifted in the right hand.

The following blessing is recited.

I am read and prepared to observe the commandment to drink the first of the four cups for the sake of the God of Israel and His presence may it be counted in the name of all Israel.
