TWO PRIMARY ASPECTS OF REMEMBRANCE

There are two aspects of remembrance.

• The God of Israel remembers us

• We remember the God of Israel.

On Rosh HaShanah / Yom Teruah, Jewish tradition teaches that the God of Israel opens a book called “The Book of Remembrance” and rewards the righteous for their good deeds on behalf of the Kingdom of Heaven.
