Coronavirus: What Does it Mean?

How are we to view the Corona virus?  How is the sovereignty of God at work here? What is He doing in and through this?

Some would say that this has nothing to do with God. They would say that this corona virus is the workings of the enemy. It’s about the Deep State manipulating and pulling strings. Let’s consider the facts and see what it might mean to us:

FACT: Churches are not holding services and are recommending that people do things online. Could this be a fulfillment of bible prophecy?

If so, where might we find the prophecy?

Let us consider Ezekiel 34:1-10. This is a condemnation of the shepherds of Israel. When you see the word shepherd, this is a pastor.

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill them that are fed: but you feed not the flock. The diseased have you not strengthened, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought again that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have you ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
Ezekiel 34:2-5

Feeding the sheep is “code” for teaching the Torah. Seeking for those who are lost is seeking the exiles of Israel and calling them to come home, which means to come back to the Torah.  This means that Messiah is coming again to gather and unite the 12 tribes of Israel.

But instead of receiving and proclaiming this message, the Pastors are seeking to give seeker friendly messages that don’t offend people. They tell their flock that everything is all right and everything is okay.  They say, “Let’s be okay with socially deviant behavior and lifestyle so we can keep our churches full and our church programs operating.”

And this causes the sheep to be divided and scattered by a countless number of winds of doctrine.

My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.  Ezekiel 34:6

What is the wandering of the sheep through all the mountains? That is church hopping.  People never feel fully fed. Some lose hope and quit attending church altogether. They stop teaching their children the ways of God and their children question whether there is a God.

Ezekiel 34:10 is what we are starting to witness now:

Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves anymore; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

God is beginning to fulfill this prophecy now. Churches all over the nation have announced that they are cancelling services. They are telling their people to look to the internet to receive spiritual instruction.

The days of the mega-church are over. The coronavirus will forever change the way America lives and the way that the traditional church functions. We are now headed back to the book of Acts where believers met in homes.

I am now going to connect another prophecy to our current situation from Malachi 4:4-5

Remember ye the Torah of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

The great and dreadful day of the LORD is the tribulation period. Notice the Elijah ministry and message PRECEDES the tribulation period. So what name do we give to this call to return to the Torah? Some call it the Messianic movement, others call it the Hebraic Roots movement. Nevertheless, its primary focus is to call non-Jews from the mainstream church to express their faith in Yeshua as Messiah by following His Torah by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

This message was propelled like a rocket, with the beginning of public access to the internet in 1996. So, the message to return to the Torah that is available publicly and globally has been going for nearly 25 years. In Matthew 17:10-13, Yeshua said John the Baptist fulfilled the ministry of Elijah at his first coming. John’s ministry did not last for 25 years. However, our modern movement has been going for nearly 25 years.

Ecclesiastes says that everything has a time and a season. I believe this 25 year season for the Hebrew roots movement is coming to an end. During this time, some have come out of the Babylonian based mixed worship system of the church and some have not.

First, God sent the fishers with a message to come out of the church system and keep the Torah of Yeshua. Many fish were caught.

But now, because of the Coronavirus, perhaps He is sending hunters (meaning people are forced to leave the church system).

Once this season of Malachi 4:4-5 is over, we begin the season of Malachi 4: 6:

“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

The worldwide coronavirus is the beginning of that curse. It will culminate in the great tribulation.

Yeshua, the holy one of Israel, gave us a specific word for the last generation through the prophet Isaiah 30: 8-9

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the Torah of the LORD:

In English, it says “for the time to come”. In Hebrew, it says “yom acharon”, which means hindermost, last, latter days. In other words, in the last days.

Who is giving this message? Verse 12 gives us the answer:

It is the Holy one of Israel, who is Yeshua. (Isaiah 30:12)

So what is his message? This verse is saying that the last generation refuses to follow the Torah (Isaiah 30:9). This last and final generation has been given 25 years to return to the Torah of Yeshua.

Instead of returning to Yeshua’s Torah, they want to be told about life in general, or when a crisis happens, they want to be told: “Don’t worry, it will be all right, everything’s okay, we will weather the storm, things will be better in the future.”

“Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.”  Isaiah 30:10

So what is the consequence of a church generation who has been given 25 years to return to the Torah of Yeshua and they have corporately rejected it? What happens to the mega-churches whose leaders want to tell everyone that it is all grace and love and everything is going to be okay? What happens within the movement when there are those grow tired and weary of teaching the Torah and proclaiming that Yeshua is coming again to gather and unite the 12 tribes of Israel?  The answer is found in this prophecy found in Isaiah 30:12-13:

Wherefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.

In other words, many have gotten comfortable living their normal life and are making long term plans for the future, but then suddenly something happens in our world without notice, that instantly affects us and changes our entire  way of life. We call it the coronavirus.

So, are we prepared for the massive number of those in the mainstream Christian church world who have gotten used to going to church each week instead of doing online learning to grow in the word of God? There are going to be a lot of hungry sheep, confused sheep, sheep who will be looking for answers in the weeks and months ahead.

Beginning in 2005, Yeshua put it upon my heart to put together a systematic, structured, online Hebraic roots discipleship program. It is now nearing its final completion. It is our goal that by the end of spring we will be able to launch this discipleship website.

In the meantime, we have many topics of study presently available through audio or video at hebroots.org.  Alternatively, for the last three years, we offer daily 25 minute teachings Monday through Friday at hebrootsradio.com.

As the United States (also called the daughter of Babylon) begins to fall and collapse, many people will be genuinely seeking for biblical truth. In doing so, it is prophesied in Jeremiah 50:4-5:

“In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God. They shall ask the way to Zion…”

Hebraic Heritage Ministries has been serving the body of Messiah for the past 25 years to position and prepare you to show you the way to Zion. We need you to take advantage of the many teachings this ministry provides.

Will you tell your friends, family, loved ones, and those you know who are seeking to live their life for Yeshua that this is a resource that can greatly benefit them in these difficult times?

Will you also prayerfully consider supporting this ministry so we can help as many people as possible through these dark days that are coming upon America and this world?
